The Embassy of the United States of America in Kigali is pleased to announce its 2026 Foreign Student Internship program (FNSIP). This program is designed to provide Rwandan students an opportunity to learn more about the work of the U.S. Embassy in Kigali. The U.S. Embassy would like to highlight that this internship program is an unpaid internship. Additionally, no future employment guarantees or privileges will result from an intern’s participation in this program.
Requirements
Program Requirements: The official internship program runs from May – October 2026. Applicants must be available to work a minimum of three (3) consecutive months during the internship period. Applicants must be available to work a minimum of 30 hours a week.
