Overview

The University of Rwanda (UR) is a public higher learning institution established in 2013 through the merger of seven public higher learning institutions. It operates as a collegiate, multi-campus university and offers undergraduate and postgraduate education across seven colleges, alongside research, innovation and community engagement. Its colleges cover areas including agriculture and food sciences, arts and social sciences, business and economics, education, medicine and health sciences, science and technology, and veterinary medicine and animal sciences.
